What is Makki surah? 

Makki surah is another name for Surah al-Fatiha. It is the first Surah in the Holy Quran and is always recited in every rakah (unit of prayer). Makki Surah is in fact the first chapter of the Holy Qur’an. It contains seven verses and it is the first surah revealed by Allah (SWT) to the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). Makki surah is not just a chapter of the Quran, it is a name given to the prayer recited in every rakah of prayer. The word comes from the word Makkah, which is the same as Mecca, which is the place where the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

What does Surah Kafirun meaning? 

Kafirun is the name of Surah 109 in the Holy Quran. It is also known as surah kafiroon or Al-Kafiroon. It is a Meccan surah which means that it was revealed around 5 years before the hijra. This is one of the earliest surahs in the Quran. The main theme is that disbelievers are dangerous and their disbelief will lead to the destruction of their life in the hereafter. 

Al-Kāfirūn (the disbelievers) is the 109th chapter (sura) of the Qur’an with 6 ayat. There is a consensus among Islamic scholars that the first four verses were revealed during the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, whereas the remaining verses were revealed during the Battle of Badr. The chapter is named surah kafiroon because of the word Al-Kufr (disbelief/rejection) that appears 1 times in the chapter. The disbelievers are the people of Quraysh who rejected the message of Islam and tortured Muslims. This surah is one of the Madinah surahs. Al-Kafirūn (The Disbelievers) is the 109th chapter surah kafiroon of the Qur’an with 6 verses (āyāt). It is a Makki surah with Medinan verses in which Allah guides the Prophet Muhammad to tell disbelievers of their inevitable fate. The word kafirūn is used in the Qur’an to describe disbelievers, those who do not believe in, the Day of Judgement, or the Books of Allah has set out for you, a way of life: Do not go wildly off course and lose your way. Remember Allah’s blessings and do your best to be grateful. He has guided you and bestowed many favors on you. You see the gifts of Allah all around you. He has blessed you with abundant wealth, children, and many opportunities. Allah has made you the best among nations to show you the Straight Way.
